Casa tipica con piscina

Muy segura la casa, tranquila y confortable.

La señal wifi puede mejorar.

We felt very comfortable during our stay. The host family is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a small paradise located about 45 minutes away from the very touristy and overpriced La Fortuna. The accommodation is in a small mountain community. There is a supermarket and a few small restaurants nearby. The pool and the viewing platform were wonderful. Perfect for a family with two small children

Bungalow #1, you can hear some noise from the street, but it didn’t bother us.

Our host Nelly, was phenomenal. Her communication was immediate, her English perfect, her manner super friendly, her response to all requests was exceptional. For example, we struggled to switch on TV. She came to check and within 15 min a new TV was brought in and installed. She also gave us some groceries we forgot to buy. The property itself is modern, VERY spacious, comfortable and has great facilities. The kitchen is well equipped, including fresh coffee. The linen on the beds was very nice, with silky sheets. I loved the private garden and fantastic landscaping with more variety of flowers that I saw in some national parks. The pool was big, clean and fun to use with some of its furniture cleverly made of reused truck tires. There is lovely view point over Arenal volcano and surrounding rural area. Although it is a bit far from Fortuna, it has everything within few minutes drive- bakery, butchery, pizzeria and decent supermarket. The value for money is the best we encounter in Costa Rica so far.

The only small problem was that there is no cabinet or place to hang clothes.
