Villa Cocos la Fortuna

The property is beautiful. We spent so much time eating and sitting out on the deck playing games and bird watching. The walk up to the hot tub and laundry is truly magical. There are so many fun spaces to hangout in and relax. Short walk into town and to a couple really good restaurants. Loved that they offered a free cleaning part way through our stay. The showers were hot and awesome. Loved the projector in the master for watching shows and movies.

I wish the main driveway was either finished all the way up to the house or more stones placed. There is just an awkward mud spot that you always have to walk through to leave the house. The water in the pool and hot tub made all bathing suits smell quite bad and even the mats going in and out of that area. Not sure if this is a water problem or a cleaning/chemical balance problem. The road by the house is quite loud into the evening and starts early morning with loud air brakes from trucks and loud motorcycles.

Twee SUV’s konden mooi overdekt staan onder de veranda. Sleutelkluis voor de incheck. Heerlijke ananassen en bier als welkomst geschenk. Naast het zwembad nog een pad naar boven met een heerlijk bubbelbad met diverse instelbare kleuren verlichting. In de woonkamer een gigantische prachtige tv klaar om naar toe te streamen. Slaapkamers allemaal voorzien van een eigen badkamer met een luxe regendouche. Verborgen pad naar de rivier behorend bij de woning met vuurplaats en heerlijke schommel banken. Beter slapen en verblijven kun je volgens mij niet op Costa Rica.

Jammer dat we maar drie dagen er waren. Hier hadden we graag veel langer doorgebracht.

all great. maybe some more storage place as no wardrobe provided and shower curtains would be great. cleaning lady not thorough at all. communication great however and all else wonderful.

This is a beautiful home! The pool and hot tub are definitely a plus since it’s private! Has a modern cabin ambiance. The details in the house like the bunk bed in the middle bedroom and the bathroom tiles give it a luxury feel. It’s a very tropical feel with the beautiful flowers and palm trees outside! And the kitchen has a panoramic view of the outdoors with windows on the top. Definitely a great rental for families. My kids loved the pool and used it every day. Great communication with the owner!

Spider webs in the corners of each room. Dusty fans. No mop to clean up after coming in from the pool. Ceilings have gaps, small critters can easily come through. Toilet seat lid in the primary bedroom won’t stay up. A little loud in the morning and noisy neighbors with loud music.
