The place was good value for the price we paid, and the host and staff were genuinely lovely, kind, and accommodating. They were very responsive and quick to assist whenever we had questions. The property was clean, and there was a cute little shop (Stride and Pott) at the front that added to its charm. It also felt like a small business finding its feet, and we were happy to support them and be part of their journey. Overall, the friendly staff and great service made the stay enjoyable. I would definitely consider booking again, especially if we could get a room away from the reception area.

The main issue was the noise. Our room was right next to the reception area, so there was quite a lot of human traffic and noise, particularly in the early evening and morning. This was unfortunately far from the quiet room we had requested. We were also surprised that the bathroom was shared. Although we got used to it quickly because it was clean, the overall setup felt more like a hostel than a hotel. A lot of the properties near the area seemed to have a similar hostel-like setup. The room also had limited ventilation, which made it feel a little damp and musty. Overall, the experience was good for the price, but I would recommend requesting a room as far away from reception as possible.

A little bit of noise as it's right on the road, but they supplied earplugs and it wasn't really an issue.

The staffs are really helpful and responsive. The location of the property is super central. Very close to all the attractions.

It’s a bit noisy when upstairs are using showers, basin and toilets.

The location is everything and the absolute best thing about being here.

I would say it is basic and one step up from a hostel. The room we had was pretty grim and the bathroom basic. The towels are terrible and everything else was passable - images online are very misleading as our room was pretty awful and very badly laid out. The staff sit at the large table chatting in groups or by themselves on their laptops and do not greet and have little or no purpose, it feels uncomfortable to ask them anything.
