I stayed in a twin room in a historic shop building with a shared bathroom for 2 days. The building is self check in, so often no staff, but the rooms are behind a shop with helpful staff. There was a very comfortable common area with a fridge, table, water and coffee, etc.
The room I got was small but comfortable and cheap. Some rooms are apparently much bigger and have their own bathroom. I didn't really like the shared bathroom down the hall, since it had flimsy plastic doors that were hard to lock. I would suggest you get a room with it's own bathroom and then it should be ok.
