Location was good and central

Our check in time was supposed to be at 15:00, I received an email saying the cleaning has been delayed, could we check in later, not a huge problem as I expected an hour more would be appropriate. We dropped off our luggage and they were still busy. We only checked in after 17:00. To make this scenario fair, I asked in exchange can we please check out then at 12:00 rather than 10:00. They only granted us 1 hour after 10:00. Place was a good stop for me and my partner as we were traveling and exploring Cape Town, due to living out of our suitcases, we chose the place especially for the washing machine. Unfortunately the washing machine didn’t work 100% and had to pay to use the general machines of the building, I asked for a compensation and didn’t receive any. Exploring the beautiful Cape Town we were out most of the day and at the top of Table Mountain, we received a text saying the owner needs to come and fix the door handle if we were available, where the door handle were fine to begin with, did not make any sense. Just felt a little inconvenient for us to leave pur tight planning and stay at the unit for them to fix it.
