Cocktails could be improved. The food is outstanding so cocktails just didn’t match the standard. Heating in private pools would be good.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Akohara Buahan Village. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the service was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We arrived at around 3 AM, and despite the late hour, the team warmly welcomed us with snacks and cold sandwiches. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, and the staff took care of our luggage and brought everything to our room. The room was very spacious, clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly integrated into the jungle surroundings. We had a private pool, and despite being surrounded by nature, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t encounter any bugs in the room or experience any disturbances at night. We also informed the hotel that we were on our honeymoon, and the team truly went above and beyond. They decorated our room, prepared a dessert for us on two different nights, offered complimentary laundry, provided a complimentary transfer, and even treated us to a 15-minute complimentary massage. These thoughtful gestures made our honeymoon feel genuinely special. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also a highlight of our stay. The food was very good, the staff were incredibly attentive, and they consistently checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Another great feature is the range of complimentary daily activities, including morning cycling through a beautiful local village, morning yoga, and other activities that allow you to enjoy the surrounding nature and local culture. Overall, the service was truly top-notch from beginning to end. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They didn’t just provide a great hotel experience—they made our honeymoon memorable. Highly recommended. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious and genuinely personalized experience in the jungle, Akohara Buahan Village is an excellent choice.

The rats were pretty big, the mosquitoes were annoying & the gym was small & ill equipped.
