We were the first guests at Apartment Melanie, so we were a little nervous because there were no reviews - it could have been a hit or miss. Thankfully, it was a total hit! The apartment is cozy, practical, and extremely comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and care into it - it truly felt like a home away from home.
The location is perfect. It’s right across the road from the gondola, which is fantastic for skiers (not far to carry skis!). There’s also a supermarket just across the road. The main square is about a 15 minute walk, along a lovely street filled with restaurants and charming independent shops.
Our stay was perfect and we felt completely at ease. The apartment is well-equipped, comfortable and thoughtfully designed. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend it for a stay in Bansko.
