About this apartment rental
We warmly welcome you to the historic manor house of the old Pappelhof, built in 1858 in Sulsdorf. The house is situated on a property spanning a good 2,400 m², right on the edge of a field, and can be reached via an inviting driveway from Alte Dorfstraße. Enjoy your days off here in peaceful tranquility, with a magnificent view across the fields and colorful kites on the horizon.
The highlight of this spacious apartment is the living/dining/kitchen area with its large panoramic windows, offering a view of the fields and kites on the horizon. From the dining table or the cozy sofa, enjoy the view of nature. A satellite TV is also available here. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a stove with a ceramic cooktop (4 burners) and an oven, exhaust hood, fridge-freezer, an additional fridge-freezer (in case the apartment is fully occupied and the refrigeration space is insufficient), microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, electric kettle, and even a precision scale.
Through an open passageway (with blackout curtains), you’ll enter a living/bedroom (open-plan room). Here, you’ll find a stereo system with internet radio, Bluetooth, Spotify, etc. You can also connect to the internet for free via Wi-Fi using your own devices.
There are also two bedrooms available. All beds and the studio couches have single mattresses, each measuring 90 x 200 cm.
The bathroom features a shower, bathtub, toilet, sink, and a washing machine for free use. A hair dryer is provided.
In the storage room, you’ll find a vacuum cleaner, a travel crib with a mattress, and a high chair for our youngest guests.
From the living/dining/kitchen area, you have direct access to the large wooden deck terrace, which features a full-width folding awning. Sun loungers and a grill are also available. All guests are welcome to use the spacious garden.
You can park your car on the property. Your bicycles can be stored under a covered carport.
The house and both apartments were completely renovated from 2017 to 2021. We based the design on the concept of “hygge” and hope that you, too, will feel right at home. This is a smoke-free home, and the large property is ideal for sports, games, and relaxation—whether you’re traveling with or without your furry friends.
The location is truly a dream for guests who love peace and nature on the Baltic Sea coast. The idyllic harbor of Orth is just 900 m away. Here in the Orther Reede, kiteboarders and surfers will find one of Germany’s largest kitesurfing and surfing areas. The Gollendorf and Lemkenhafen areas are right next door. The nearest natural beach in Püttsee is 2.5 km away, and the Flügge Lighthouse is 3.5 km away. The Wallnau Waterfowl Reserve is easily reached by bike after a 4.5-km ride. The entire island is perfect for long bike rides.
Sulsdorf itself is a town shaped by agriculture and tourism in the quieter western part of the island. You’ll find the nearest bakery, as well as restaurants and cafés, in Orth. Another bakery, two discount stores, and a general practitioner are located in Petersdorf, 3 km away.
