Beautiful home, quiet. Does need a bit more attention to cleanliness. The cushions on the dining rooms chairs were disgusting!! They honestly need to be thrown out. Couldn't sit on the sofa, it was so uncomfortable and the recliner closest to the front door stunk like an old man had been sitting in it that never took a shower. I had to put a blanket over the chair in order to sit in it. It was in the low 90's outside this week and the a/c never got below 73 in the house. There are only a couple of vents in the floor for the a/c. So if y'all are looking for a house with great a/c, this ain't the one you want! Only on free standing fan in the house, if it wasn't for that fan, we would not have been able to sleep. The back bedroom and bathroom get no air at all. Only three bath towels available for two people is unexceptable. Besides all that, the house was nice, not good for a summertime getaway from the Phoenix heat if you want a/c. Host was nice. Close to Wisky Row.

The host was great, and the house was cute and clean.

Unfortunately, we were there for a funeral and didn’t had a chance to explore Arizona but everything met my expectations.

We booked Virginia Street Cottage as a brief get away for my birthday. We absolutely loved everything about Melanie and Eric’s place. Most especially their backyard as we were able to totally relax, read and just chat and laugh with each other. The weather was perfect and we had planned to see a few sights but found the cottage and BACKYARD so perfect, we just stayed there cooking our meals in their lovely, well equipped kitchen. Communicating with Melanie was easy through VRBO and Melanie’s response time was quick. What can I say other than we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the fall.
