Minn Asakusa Kuramae Station

Great location in a peaceful neighborhood, yet close to transit and dining. The apartment was roomy and the washer/dryer was a huge plus for daily laundry. The kitchen was small but functional for simple meals. However, cleanliness was an issue as the room was very dusty. Keep in mind that as a serviced apartment, you handle your own trash and there is no daily cleaning service. A decent experience overall.

Pros: -Location is pretty nice. Oedo line is just right outside the hotel. Asakusa line is just a few steps away too. Probably 15-20mins walk to Sensoji temple and Don Quijote Asakusa. -Room is bigger than the usual rooms in Japan. We booked a room that can accommodate up to 6 people but we're just a couple so it's big enough for the two of us. -Wifi signal is great -Room has its own washer/dryer. Just buy your own detergent in case the one they provided is not enough. You need at least an hour of drying alone for the clothes to be totally dried. -The toilet is separated from the shower area which is great. Shower area doesn't have a tub and I prefer that tbh. There are two sinks just outside the shower area. They have refa items like a blower/hair dryer, straightener, and a curler so you don't need to bring one. Cons: -The room is not properly cleaned. The night we checked in, I saw that it's very dirty around the bed. I checked under the bed and it's the same. The carpeted area was not clean at all. Lots of hair even in the tatami area. The following day I told the staff about it and they did a cleaning on that day while we were outside. When we went back to the room, it's still not cleaned properly cause they missed out some areas. So, we had to borrowed their vacuum for me to cover the area that they missed cleaning. -Please try to clean the carpeted area especially under and around the bed because your wallpaper is leaving some sort of crumbs. I think you should replace the wallpaper with something smoother for it not to leave crumbs/dust. Check the sides of the laundry area cause it's full of dirt as well. -It says in your policies that if a guest will stay more than 7 nights, the room will be cleaned on the 4th and 7th day but your staff only cleaned our room on the 6th day. -The property's room cleanliness is a big issue for us during our stay.
