The hosts took such good care of us and made sure we had a wonderful time here! The futon beds were very comfortable. The piano added an extra touch and my mother and I enjoyed playing it a little.
This place is perfect for a family or a group of friends! I would not recommend it for multiple couples (such as we were: my parents and my partner and me). Whilst the living area and sleeping area can be separated by sliding doors, there is a gap at the top, so light and sound travel easily between the two areas, which does not facilitate total privacy.

I love the traditional feel of this property! Staying in a house with tatami mats was a dream come true for me. The property was well kept and has a lot of character! If you like traditional japanese house 100% recommend this property! It’s about 40 mins from Kyoto but it was worth it! You can also take the scenic train ride from kyoto to the property! Amazing location!

Super clean and spacious. The host are very nice and thoughtful young couple. I needed a pet friendly for a reason. They even prepared and provide a pet feeding bowl and pet wipe etc to care my dear pug. I will recommend this place to anyone. The accomodation is located 15-20 minutes walk from Kameoka station which is probably about 20 min from Kyoto. Also communication is great. They will responds very quickly.
