Sakura house

Grazie a Mischino e Katsumi per avere reso il mio viaggio a Kyoto davvero speciale, due persone splendide che mi hanno regalato una vera esperienza Giapponese. La casa è bellissima su 2 piani con un bel giardino dove la mattina si può mangiare le buonissime colazioni che ti preparano. Mi hanno dato dei preziosi consigli che mi hanno facilitato di molto il mio soggiorno a Kyoto. La casa si trova fuori zona turistica e per me è un plus ma ha ben 2 stazioni vicino una che conduce in 2 fermate alla stazione di Kyoto e una che porta direttamente a Gion nel centro. Vicino c'è anche un centro commerciale con negozi ristoranti e atm. Non ho utilizzato i servizi che mi hanno proposto ma hanno lavanderia e la possibilità di noleggiare il kimono. Avevo delle alte aspettative ma direi che sono state ampiamente superate.Se vuoi una vera esperienza giapponese questo è il posto giusto. Grazie Mille

Assolutamente nulla

El alojamiento era excelente. Todo lo necesario para hacer tu estancia cómoda. Tienes tu espacio privado. Igualmente el baño. El jardín es espectacular. Pero la casa se sentía como un hogar. Cuidan mucho los detalles

Todo bien. No tengo quejas

Staying at Sakura house was the highlight of my Kyoto solo-trip (female traveller). I love that breakfast (and a scrumptious one!) was provided for everyday so that I can start my day feeling energetic and refreshed. I stayed only for 5 nights, but each morning breakfast was slightly different and the variety of breakfast showed Michi's thoughtfulness for her guests. I appreciate how she always include salad and fruits (they can be hard to find in Japan for single portion >< Thanks to the nutritional breakfast I have no problem with my bowel) Apart from the breakfast, staying with the hosts have been fun! After breakfast I enjoyed live music from my upstairs room (Katsu is practicing flute for his Christmas recital) I'm thankful the hosts are quick to serve and help! There's one day when I decided to run, Katsu drew a map to recommend me a safe, comfortable running route with a nice view! I felt very well taken care of by Michi and Katsu - they checked in on my food preferences, recommended itineraries and we also have meaningful conversations (both hosts are fluent in English). On a more practical note, sakura house is located at katsuragawa which is only 2 stations away from Kyoto (very convenient), the house itself is <10 minutes walk to the station. Also there's a giant Aeon mall within the vicinity, and most of the time the mall is empty! Perfect for shopping and chilling. P.S During my stay, I stayed on the 2nd floor of the 2-story Japan home. There was plenty of privacy as I was the only stayer. Other than my sleeping room, there was a living space, a toilet and a shower. The living space has a pantry (kettle, microwave, fridge), a drying rack, TV, table and chairs for chilling. There's also a balcony but it was too cold in autumn for me to be out at the balcony.

There was nothing that I dislike about the stay. It was clean, convenient, comfortable, safe, and I also enjoyed the companionship of the hosts <3

Værterne er meget hjælpsomme og venlige. Man får følelsen af at bo ved en japansk familie i autentiske og hyggelige omgivelser. Vi fik tips til transport og oplevelser i området.
