Decker Daze Queenstown

we liked the novelty of it! on the bottom floor we were both able to stand up straight, on the top floor my boyfriend had to crouch a little bit but I was fine. the area the bus is in is quiet which we appreciated because of course there‘s not really a way to get sound insulation or anything in a bus. the bed was very comfy and I really appreciated the heated blanket because it got a little chilly in the evening. the bus was equipped with everything you need for a couple days, there‘s even ground coffee and a little carton of milk in the fridge.

the shower was a little awkward to use because the space is small and you don’t want to splash water all over everything. also it takes a while to get warm, which wasn‘t a big deal because you can take a seat of the toilet while you wait haha.

A lovely quirky stay for two nights in this self contained double decker bus. Victoria welcomed us with a full history of the vehicle and some local information. The bus is fully equipped for self catering if you need it.

We loved staying in an old bus. We like quirky. Victoria was very helpful, welcoming, and correspondence was good. Proximity to Queenstown is good, and only a short drive.

Not so keen on the position on the road. But on reflection, it was quiet. Be aware the bus is very old, but we think the price is right.
