The mountains feel like they’re on your doorstep in this modern 1-bedroom Lower Shotover apartment. Ideal for exploring the Queenstown region—wineries or ski slopes—or for business travellers seeking a quiet retreat. It features a full kitchen and bathroom, plus a spacious living and dining area for a comfortable short or long stay.
Depending on your booking method, ID verification and a security deposit of NZD350 may be held (not charged) after booking.
Our standard office hours are typically:
Mon-Fri: 9am - 5pm
Sat/Sun: 10am - 4pm
For urgent enquiries outside of these hours, we recommend calling directly, or sending a message via email / your booking platform.
Lower Shotover is a small township based at the junction of the famous Kawarau and Shotover rivers, about 15-20 minutes from Central Queenstown (traffic dependant).
Free parking is available on the street only, but is typically not a problem to find. The entire space is your own and fully private. Entry is via an external stair case, up one flight of stairs.
Walk up the exterior steps to find the entry and enter into our open plan kitchen / living / dining space with access to an furnished outdoor deck area. From the lounge, there is access to either the bathroom or double bedroom.
A heat pump in the living area heats this space, which can also act as air conditioning in the warmer months.
A regular bus service runs from Lower Shotover to Queenstown, with the bus stop a 10 minute walk away.
Route 5: Lake Hayes Estate to Queenstown

Nice comfortable home. The host was prompt in replying to questions we had as well as forgiving when I realized I forgot to leave the key upon departure. I was very upset with myself but he was kind and our solution worked well!
