Absolute Waterfront Apartment - Lakeside access with trails straight to town

The place was incredible, view amazing! Perfect for our family of 4! Really cold when we stayed and heating was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Fire place added to great atmosphere. Only points to consider is hot water, it runs out very quickly and the check in directions are not given until after midday on the check in day. It would really help if they were provided at least 24 hours prior.

The location is great with a view of Lake Wakatipu and the sunrise.Parking is okay but not the best as it is a shared driveway where we were told to park as close as possible to a tree fence. This made our back passenger hard to get on and off as well as luggage.The property is clean overall, but could do with cleaner and newer furniture, pots, pans and cutlery.Sounds and footsteps from our stairs does affect us and could be a nightmare for light sleepers. Strongly recommend earplugs.Overall, our stay was comfortable and convenient.

Parking was tricky but great to have off street parking. Excellent views :) and warm.

The place was as expected. Please note the parking is very limited. I had a toyota yaris and it still blocked in one of the neighbours vehicles even when parked literally in the hedge. The parking would not be suitable for a bigger car. If you are using the pull out bed be aware that the bathroom is an ensuite from the bedroom so to go to the bathroom you would have to walk into the main bedroom and to the bathroom. The host also has a 50 charge on any dishes left uncleaned so I would recommend washing all dishes before using them as I would imagine if in a rush potentially dishes could be put away uncleaned to avoid the charge. Overall though the host was very responsive. One of the neighbours parked me in and Alan sorted it out straight away.
