Casa del Cerbiatto, Lake Como a 5 chilometri da Argegno

The appartment was clean and quiet. A parking spot in the courtyard was included. Self check-in via codebox is available so late arrivals are no problem. The appartment is on ground level, no stairs to climb with luggage. There is a comfy kitchen well equipped. Tourist information about the surroundings is also available. The location is nicely situated but only easily accessible by car. From there you can look for a local butcher/ baker and by this experience the local life in the small villages in the mountains on the coast of the Como lake.

The location is not easy to find neither by the car navigation nor by google maps. Google maps had led me at least to 100 m far away. Then I used the video instructions sent by the host via WhatsApp and finally found the house. The Wifi is extremely slow, especially in the evening (when probably the host is also using it to watch movies, so the capacity is limited). The appartment is integrated into the building where the host lives and privacy is rather theoretical. There are doors with an inscription "do not enter" and on the staircase to the first floor there are plants put in the way to signal, not to access the upper floor. But it gives you a sensation that any time somebody could come down the stairs or come in via the "forbidden" door. To check in/register, the host asked me for a foto of my Id card, which I refused to do because of the danger of identity theft. I provided him the number of my Id and my personal data.

Appartamento grande, nuovo e ben fornito. La cucina ha tutto il necessario. Molto comodo anche lo spazio per parcheggiare la macchina all'interno della proprietà. Julian è stato super reattivo, disponibile, gentile e ci ha dato buoni consigli.

Il letto un po troppo duro e il piumone è per un letto a una piazza e mezza, non per il matrimoniale. Sarebbe comodo anche avere gli asciugamani da viso (quelli per la doccia e bidet già ci sono) e un docciashampoo. Ma nel complesso sono dettagli secondari che non influiscono troppo sulla buona esperienza con l'appartamento.

Posizione molto tranquilla a pochi km da Argegno. Nella casa c'è tutto quello che può servire per cucinare. Frigorifero capiente e molto utili i suggerimenti ricevuti sui dintorni da visitare. Possibilità di utilizzare la lavatrice (cosa molto comoda). Parcheggio difronte la casa.

Servirebbe una luce per leggere in camera sopra i letti. Altrimenti è necessario mantenere la luce accesa disturbando chi ci dorme accanto
