Adisham village home Haputale

The homestay is located a bit away from the city centre but that didn’t matter at all. Whenever I wanted to go anywhere, the owner would drop me and pick me up so I never had to worry about transport or getting scammed. If you want to experience local life or just see hidden gems this is the place to go. The owner takes the time to show you everything you want, that is if you’re open for that - he is never pushy, so you could easily do your own thing. But I really recommend to ask him about all the places you want to see and how you should plan your route, he will arrange everything for you and make your stay unforgettable. As the entire family grew up in this area they have a lot of connections and know their way around. So basically whatever you want to do or see, they will take care of it for you, which is incredibly nice. So much better than staying in Ella in my opinion, you still get to see all the sights if you want to, but it’s much cheaper in Haputale and more authentic too. Totally recommend

The host was so helpful. From breakfast at 5.30 am, fixing the best driver in town, to helping us with our plans, nothing was too much for him.
