Our family of 15 and of varying ages had a lovely time here. The house and grounds were unique and amazing. There was a lot to explore, including an abandoned church with creepy mannequins! It was great to be able to have everyone together. Mark was the best host ever! He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His family has owned the property for many generations, and he is very knowledgeable and interesting.
The house is historic, so if you are expecting completely modern and perfect amenities you may be disappointed. It is very comfortable and charming despite its age.

Utterly fabulous two days. Mark was a true gent, helping us with everything from start to finish. The property is stunning; the gardens fresh and well looked after. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The asado-style BBQ was real highlight. Five stars in every sense. Thank you so much!

Mark was there on arrival and accommodated us with an early check in. The grounds are amazing overlooking the river shannon and we were lucky with the weather that we got to spend a lot of the time outside. Everything you need is in the house for large groups.

Leuk authentiek huis, 6 slaapkamers, 2 met eigen badkamer. 4 met gedeelde badkamer en wc. Wij sliepen met 13 personen. Hierdoor allemaal een bed. De banken niet hoeven proberen. Zijn wel echt banken. Alleen in kamer 1 nog een goed extra bed.
Mark is een fijne host, regelmatig contact over hoe we de indeling van de bedden wilden en hoe we het konden vinden. Fijne tuin. Prima bedden alleen wat kort voor ons lange Nederlanders.
Wij sliepen hier 1 nacht met vrienden en gingen naar een feest met de taxi. Dus hadden we weinig nodig. Verder is er weinig in de buurt op loopafstand.
