Really deceiving photographs - terrible condition (incl. mold), moved to a hotel
The location was convenient. And that's about it.
In photos this place looks amazing but I wish I'd listened to reviews (which are terrible). I was shocked at how poorly cared for it was - a broken mirror (see photo), holes & tears in walls, the wardrobe is falling apart w/ water damage & tears (see photo), some windows are warped and don't fully close, and every piece of furnishing heavily worn or damaged (see bathroom vanity photo). But when it was time for bed I discovered mold growing up the walls of the bedroom behind the door (see photo) and if you know mold you know that there is often a lot more than what is visible. Unacceptable for anyone but even worse for me as I have an intense allergy. That plus when I booked I stated I have a severe feather / down allergy and needed non-feather bedding - but the comforter was down. Between the mold & the feathers & the poor condition we had to move to a hotel at midnight the day we checked in... Now I acknowledge I did not tell the owner right away as it was the middle of the night, then I was sick, and then I was trying to arrange where to move next. But when I did inform him he denied anything was wrong with the apartment - "my caretaker has just sent me a video confirming that there are no issues in the apartment". He also said I should have checked the listing if I had a feather allergy - "everything provided in the apartment matches the details and amenities listed on the Airbnb page. We dont offer any additional items beyond whats included there". For clarification, the amenities do not list the type of bedding (see the photo of the current list which does not specify any of these details). And I did alert them to this allergy 2 months in advance and they did not reply that would be an issue. And did I mention I moved to a 4 star hotel with a river view for a much cheaper nightly price - the price on this place is completely out of proportion with what you get.

Teerible value for money
Close to the venue that we needed and the bathrooms where nice
As soon as we walked in we could smell weed in the building - the kitchen wasn't clean as there was food spilled down the cupboard doors - sofa wasn't very comfortable and the middle part of it was sunken in - couldn't turn the heating on and the house was cold - also alot of shouting outside on both nights

Apartment was good location,clean enough but quite hard to locate the apt block
Good location
My wife left her makeup bag in the room,I messaged and informed the owner but they are claiming it is not there. Quite unprofessional & a shame. I paid a high rate to stay expecting good faith back but no. Quite upsetting for my wife as she had a necklace kept safe in it from a passed loved one.
