Arena Apartments

The location was perfect for what we needed. There was a pool although we didn't use it. Parking was a nice to have too. The aircon worked thank goodness and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was welcome.

The check in arrangements were inconvenient involving a key pick up in a shop a fair way away. There was some minor wear and tear in the bathroom and there was only one spoon in the cutlery drawer.

Comfy bed, good location, spacious with a kitchen and laundry.

Check in was a pain as it was offsite and a long way from the property. Opposite direction from the train to go and pick up the keys.

Nice, well equipped and clean

Key collection and drop was not only stressful but introduce additional cost from transportation to collection and drop off points.

Location was good close to West End and restaurants.

The host provided poor information; we were not told about collecting the key until we had paid. If you did not have a car it was a very long walk to collect the key at a convenience store at South bank. The arrival instructions did not specify which tower the apartment was in (there are two) so we wasted a lot of time trying to get in to the wrong tower and car park, very frustrating. No info about the apartment was provided. The body wash bottle in the shower was empty, the Nespresso machine was full of used pods. Apartment could use a dish cloth to wipe benches, more hangers 4 only provided, no clothes pegs, no pool towels (those who book thru Arena can get pool towels from reception), no scissors, no plastic bags for rubbish we had to buy these. The initial info from Booking.com stated that the Ezy convenience store to return key to on departing was open 0600 to 2300, the host later advised it was 0800 to 2300, we had booked flights based on the Ezy store being open from 0600 so it was near thing to make our flight. Normally the host provides info about cleaning on departure, in the absence of any info at all from the host we cleaned the benches, washed and dried the dishes and put out the rubbish. The host sent us an email at 0615 on the morning of departure advising us to do all this, pathetic, I was not looking at my email at that hour of the morning as we had to rush to return the keys to the Ezy mart store. Finally, if you want a view don't book this apartment, the view is of the opposite apartment block and the driveway to the car park.
