Modern 1BR Retreat - Pool, Gym, Parking - Walk to South Bank

parking included; close proximity to Southbank; tidy kitchenette.

We had a late arrival and when we checked into the room, there was no bedding for the 3rd guest (our child), which i had disclosed on booking and paid the additional fee for the linen. We had to wait up till 9:30pm for extra linen to be delivered and only then were provided with 1 sheet, 2 pillow cases and a towel. There was no blanket for the roll out bed. The main bed only had a light blanket, which was unclean. The pillows were like lumpy cotton wool. The room was void of additional blankets and/or sheets, with the exception of a throw rug that appeared to have been tossed into the top of the wardrobe. Due to lack of bedding, our family of 3 shared one bed which was less than ideal as the main bed was a queen size at best. The futon was also very lumpy and would not have been suitable for sleeping. The air conditioning appeared to have been set to 18 degrees and automatically switched on through the night, which made the room extremely, causing us to wake through the early hours of the morning.

Location was great. Parking was easy. Everything necessary was in the apartment. Apartment was clean.

Apartment was hot and aircon was set to heat only and was centrally controlled. A few small cockroaches about at night.
