I stayed here as a solo traveler, and overall I think this is a good option if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Manhattan. New York is incredibly expensive, so for the price I paid, I think the value was fair. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The rooms and shared facilities were spotless throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. That said, the rooms are extremely small, even by New York standards. If you’re taller than 180 cm (5’11”), you may find the bed uncomfortable because it’s difficult to fully stretch out. The walls are also very thin, so if your neighbors are noisy or snore, you will probably hear them. Another thing to keep in mind is that, depending on where your room is located, you may have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, which can be challenging with a heavy suitcase. My biggest disappointment was the front desk service. While I met a few staff members who were genuinely kind and welcoming, most of my interactions felt unfriendly. I speak English fluently, but I couldn’t help noticing that guests who weren’t fluent seemed to receive very little patience or assistance, which was disappointing to see. Overall, I would recommend this place to solo travelers on a budget who prioritize location and cleanliness over comfort. Just be prepared for a very compact room and don’t expect particularly warm customer service.

now now hostel new and affordable. under $*** for those who need place to sleep and shower on their way to next adventure. absolutely highly recommend price is on point. instead of paying over $***for a place you just sleep and shower. this is extraordinary for under $***

The water stops occasionally and there wouldnt a prior intimation. It was summer so the AC was taking time to cool the room down. Everything is fine except not having a free coffee machine. Overall a pleasant place to stay if you are solo traveller.

I woke up to a fire alarm at 6am after not sleeping because you can hear every room open and close their door. They did not compensate me in any way and took a while to communicate that the fire alarm was a false alarm. For the price, I expect more.
