The location in open country, but just outside the village was excellent. Wirksworth is a fabulous village.
The track down to the property was very narrow and deeply rutted. I would not have wanted to drive there after dark. It was also not the easiest place to find.

Lots of character and building was warm.
Instructions to arrive could be more detailed as in winter from 4pm very dark and difficult to find the property. Don't take a sports car - access is off a stone road.

Beautiful cottage and setting.
Kitchen was well kitted out.
Road access very tight. Should inform people of this.
Main fridge didn't work but no one told us that. Second fridge provided but no information why until we figured the main one wasn't working.
Very little storage space for food in kitchen.
Central heating was not working properly.
No information sent on how to gain entry and only one set of keys.
