Very comfortable, homely and very well equipped cottage. Great views across Wirksworth. The owners left a lovely basket of welcome goodies 🙂.

Some of the outside chairs are ready to be replaced and didn't want to risk sitting on them.

Very comfortable property and well appointed

Hot water did not deliver 2 showers or a shower and bath at the same time.

We had a fabulous weekend celebrating a friend's big birthday - the house was warm, comfortable and quite frankly, just perfect! This was one of the best equipped homes we have ever stayed in - and there was a generous welcome hamper too which we enjoyed greatly. The hosts were really helpful and communication was easy and friendly. Would definitely recommend it for groups or families, and would absolutely visit again if we have the chance!

Arriving in the dark was not ideal as the parking spots were full and it was difficult in the dark to see where exactly the house was. Would recommend looking on street view before you visit to be prepared if arriving in the dark!! Having said that, the host was available on the phone to guide us and give advice - very grateful for that!!
