RIDGEMOUNT APT - Great base for walking and cycling in Keswick, Lake District National Park

Very comfortable very clean. And everything we needed was there.

Parking a little tight but manageable

Great location, easy to get into Keswick but far enough away from the busy town centre - walking distance to Fitz Park and connection to Threlkeld

Parking - parking space is incredibly difficult to manoeuvre into if other residents are already parked up. Steps (inside) - between the kitchen and living space there are 4 steps, perfectly fine for older children but for our 18month old who is just starting to walk, very testing 😬

This is a bi-level flat. You enter into the kitchen, fully-equipped and clean. Kitchen table for 4. Also on this level is two bathroom sinks, shower stall, toilet. Large and fluffy towels. Good water pressure in the shower. Going up three steps takes you to the comfy living room (with TV) and two bedrooms. Master bed very comfortable, soft pillows, comfortable sheets, two end tables with lamps, storage space. No TV in bedroom. Second bedroom has bunk beds for two. The whole apartment is very clean, comfortable, and tidy, about a fifteen minute walk into town center. Also has a free parking spot. Ben made himself available if we needed him, but everything was complete. Beautiful view of the mountains from bedrooms/living room.

To get into the apartment, you need to climb a flight of metal stairs, which can be tricky when wet or when carrying luggage. The flat is one of about four units in a multi-resident dwelling that is situated on the main highway going into or out of Keswick. The bedrooms of the flat face this highway; the drone of traffic on this well-traveled road is noticeable until after midnight.

Amazing little place, easily big enough for a couple and a dog, would easily cater for 2 kids too as there is a bunk bed. Close to the local town and all.the good climbs
