Location great, a 25 minute walk into Keswick, able to walk onto the hills from the lodge. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We were able to warm the lodge really well with the heaters in the building. Good shower.
It is getting a little tired. The beds are OK, but are well used. The dishwasher, although worked fine, had a cracked door handle, due to wear and tear. Having said all this I would definitely stay there again.

Loved being right by the river which was quite fast flowing. Ample parking right outside lodge, lots of floor space and felt clean. Park really quiet and felt safe which is just what we wanted. Perfect for dogs.
The railway trail to Keswick was brilliant, flat for bikes/wheelchairs etc and took about 25mins (with a slow dog!)
Lodge is quite tired looking, beds and sheets could do with an upgrade (still clean), shower was not powerful. But with that all said it was budget friendly and the surroundings were gorgeous. I think the owners should consider giving the lodges abit of a freshen up but I still think they are worth trying.

Location is perfect, 20-30 minute walk into Keswick along the cycle path was ideal.
Firstly the directions for getting there, got sent about 10 messages with instructions in relation to my booking, once I got through them all I eventually found a postcode which doesn't take you to it. Ended up finding it myself.
The lodge I booked was more run down than even the pictures made it look. A simple lick of paint could make it so much better. Theres clearly money spent on the other accommodation but not spent any of these type in a while. Everything about the lodge was dated.
The wifi was terrible, so intermittent which isn't good in a place where signal isn't great.
It still has a DVD player in it, thats how dated it is.
I just felt that the lodge with a bit of work could be so much more welcoming and warm.
For the price, I'd say I'm disappointed overall.
One other thing, on my arrival I was wearing a tshirt which supports a mens mental health (Boys get sad too, look it up) and the member of staff on check in desk had a look at it and scoffed at it. If I wasn't so tired from the drive, I'd have asked what his problem was.

Great location, walking distance of Keswick and perfect for lots of hikes and walks. Lovely lodge by the river. The holiday park was really nice and quiet.
The lodge was lovely but a bit tired. Everything worked, beds comfortable, but it could all do with a lick of paint. Shower lovely and warm but not powerful. The sitting area to the side of the lodge was poorly maintained with loose paving on the step and a wobbly fence.
