The Lookout

Lots of home comforts and treats. Great central location. Towels were extremely soft. Rooms were a great size too. Loved the lookout tower. We were lucky enough to stay when Alnwick gardens had a firework display, so we got a birds eye view in the warmth. Colour coded keys made entry and exit so much easier. Communication from owner made it easy to find parking spot etc.

The Lookout was the perfect base for our stay in Alnwick. It's minutes walk from the Castle and gardens, Barter Books and the Market. The Apartment itself was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We loved the lookout tower with views over Alnwick. The Apartment has the added benefit of secure parking, which was a must for as as we were planning on visiting the nearby Seahouses and Bamburgh Castle. Would 100% recommend a stay here!

The property was spotlessly clean and in a lovely central location for shops, pubs and walking distance to local attractions like Alnwick Castle and Gardens etc. It was also on good road routes to explore further afield, like Bamburgh and Amble etc. It was beautifully furnished, with a very comfortable double bed, and a great powerful shower in the ensuite. The free, safe parking was an added bonus, albeit a little tricky to locate at first, but Kate provided excellent directions to help us. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay at the Lookout, and especially enjoyed the views from the top floor lookout room while having our breakfast - this was a special treat and worth climbing the stairs!
