Beautiful, clean, homely property. Personal touches everywhere and information left in a non intrusive way. Perfect location and had everything we needed. Highly recommend

I appreciated the attention to detail and the unexpected additions - delicious cake. I have a hatred of duvets, even the lowest tog is too hot for me, so an additional thin quilt was very welcome. The tiny back garden was delightful and along with the decor made the place homely and welcoming.
Being elderly and using a stick meant having to park the car (in pouring rain the first day) in a car park at the top of the road, not the nicest experience, but that's out of the hands of the owner. The bed was very comfortable, but the mattress didn't cover the bottom of the bedstead and with little room between it and the wall, I have bruises on my legs (several as I don't learn fast!) A soap dish/small shelf in the shower would have been helpful to avoid having to keep bending down.

It was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was near the town centre so pubs and restaurants were on our doorstep. Alnwick has a lot of places of interest nearby and the cottage was home from home There was even a welcome pack with drinks, cakes and biscuits and a card welcoming us.
