Great place to stay for the price and if you're not fussy. Elevator was mostly broken during my stay. Close to bus stop and train station. Near to grocery stores.

The location of the hotel is quite comfortable. It is away from the busy area, and there is an EDEKA supermarket only about a 3 minutes walk away. If you want to visit Düsseldorf, it is also quite convenient, as it takes around 25 minutes by tram/train and bus.
However, there was one very disappointing issue with the self check-in process. The hotel did not provide the access code for entering the hotel and the room in advance. Instead, the barcode needed for self check-in was kept inside the hotel, at the reception area, where there was no staff available to assist.
Fortunately, there were other guests arriving at the same time, so I was able to get the information from them. But honestly, if I had arrived alone late at night and there had been no other guests, I might not have been able to enter the hotel or access my room at all. This is a serious issue for a self check-in system.
I am not sure whether this was the hotel’s responsibility or the responsibility of the third party through which the booking was made, but the check-in information should have been provided clearly before arrival. Guests should not have to rely on other guests just to get access to their own room.
And unfortunately, there was another unpleasant surprise at check-out: I found a cockroach inside the toilet.
The location itself was convenient, but the self check-in situation was extremely frustrating, and finding a cockroach in the bathroom made the overall experience even more disappointing. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and improves the check-in process and cleanliness.
