Great location in a quieter part of the lake area.

There had been an intense heatwave prior to and during our stay. Upon check in we found not even fans provided and the house was unbearable. I contacted the host via msg on booking, via WhatsApp and tried calling but there was no response for hours. I therefore ended up having to driving 1.5hrs to buy fans (which I paid for myself). After I left one fan there for future guests, the host send me an aggressive message about leaving it there and accused us of leaving the house in a ‘deplorable’ state which was completely false. I still have no idea why they got angry when I actually made their house better off. The other houses we stayed at nearby before and after went out of their way to buy additional fans and were very considerate of our health and comfort during that time. It’s a shame this host did not do the same and cared more for their guests.
