Room was very clean. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Proximity to the Zocalo and being in the heart of the Centro district was a big plus!

Other than a complete lack of hot water, no heating, and the hotel's location on a major (loud, disruptive) political protest route and tourist area, this hotel is cute and close to a few historic sites. I would not recommend coming in late fall or winter because of the hot water + heat situation, unless only for a very short stay. Otherwise, enjoy the nice hospitality and clean rooms in this well maintained and historic building.
