Beautiful if you’re lucky with the weather

Clean, good equipment, nicely furnished.

The steps down to it were very steep. No hand rail. Personally I found them quite treacherous in the wind and rain. No view from inside unless you stood by

Good value little getaway with a sea view. 10 minutes walk into the glorious Porthleven harbour.

Great little getaway. Great sea view from one window. Good en-suite and cute little kitchen.

Cosy private apartment with wonderful views

Cosy quiet apartment in great location, with wonderful views, perfect place to escape to but only 10 minute scenic walk into Porthleven. Helpful host on site but not intrusive. Smart TV with Netflix etc. Lovely walks.

Location Amazing, Accomodation needs work and attention.

The location is fantastic and spectacular views..easy walk into Porthleven.Bed was very comfortable,the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need .

Immediately hit with smell of damp when entering, furnishings and decor a little tired.Bedroom smells damp ,Shower didn't work properly,unable to keep a consistent temperature.We left early because of a large rodent of some kind scurrying around in the walls constantly at night .

Great location & Apartment had everything you needed for a lovely beautiful seaside stay!

The location was perfect - being so close to Porthleven (10min walk along the coast path) whilst also having your own peaceful spot with a terrace that had amazing views! Apartment had everything you needed including to cook with and the host was great at providing all details you needed and appreciated how she ensured our stay was private and peaceful

Beautiful location & a stunning stay - recommend!

The location was absolutely amazing, to be surrounded fully by sea! It was a really lovely spot and really close to the town, but so nice to have that 10 min walking distance to feel fully in nature. The apartment was well equipped - we cooked there once, and the beds super comfy. Would recommend!

The hot water was a bit hit and miss but to be expected in that type of rental & not a big deal! We were a little frustrated by the later check in time than you'd usually get at a property/rental like this (4pm check in and 10:30am check out). We were staying for 4 nights and it took a fair chunk of time out of our stay. We totally get the need to turn around for the next guest, but what through us with this were that there were lots of instructions regarding tidying, wiping down surfaces, doing the bins, sorting the sheets & putting things away upon exit. The balance of that and the later check in felt like a bit of a pinch to us. That was our only criticism though - the rest of the place/location/experience was amazing!

Beautiful property with stunning views, would definitely return.

Lovely property, the apartment is beautiful in an amazing location, just a short walk into Porthleven, it’s clean and cozy. Host was very friendly and check in and out was very clear and easy.

Nothing to not like about the property. However the path from the parking space to the garden could do with cutting back and clearing. It’s over grown with grass and stinging nettles so made it difficult to walk through in shorts and flip flops now weather is warming up.

Location was perfect for our needs

It was very cold even with the heaters on full it just didn’t seem to warm up. Could do with a freshen up (walls painted) Kitchen missing a few essentials (especially a cork screw)

Must Stay

Wonderful quirky apartment, in the most stunning location, balcony with views over the sea, and short cliffside walk into Porthleven. Great and thoughtful host...little things like flowers, the heating on and a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival, went a long way. Already discussing our next visit...

Our expectations were unfortunately not met, so it isn’t somewhere we’d revisit.

It was well-appointed, and we liked the style of the apartment. The furnishings were good and the bed was very comfy. It was good to observe a seating area with a view (but we could not make use of this in January).

We visited in January. The access to the apartment was via very steep steps - not advised in description - and they were ill-lit. The property was very cold on arrival which upset us - took at least 48 hours to warm up. The bathroom radiator was inadequate so was cold throughout our stay. . Apartment was not cosy - no curtains - so felt draughty. There was limited sea-view from apartment itself. We’re not dog people and found them aggressive - should have mentioned this in the blurb.

Beliggenheden var god, roligt og fredeligt sted, dejligt med havet som nabo og tæt på nærliggende by og havn der bød på et rart miljø uden for meget hurlumhej.

Det regnede og blæste en del i de fire dage vi var der, det betød i sig selv ikke noget, men hoveddøren sluttede ikke tæt, vi fik vand fra tagrenden i hovedet når vi gik ud/ind, vinden peb ind af døren ved soveværelset, radiatoren virkede ikke i stuen og det bevirkede alt sammen at lejligheden virkede lidt klam. Væggene var kolde og det var ikke så hyggeligt, hvis man var nød til at tilbringe tid i lejligheden pga dårligt vejr.

Jederzeit wieder!

Die Lage des Appartements ist sehr gut, zudem hat man eine Terrasse mit wundervoller Aussicht. Der Fußweg nach Porthleven beträgt lediglich 15 Minuten. Die Ausstattung der Küche des Appartements ist vollständig, die Sauberkeit einwandfrei. Schlafzimmer und Wohnbereich sind getrennt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.
