The location of Beacon Crag is spectacular. Right on the edge of a headland with a 180 degree view of the sea. Don’t be put off by the distance from Porthleven because it is literally less than 10 minutes easy walk to the harbour and quicker if you only go as far as the first pub. Breakfast of cereal/muesli and yogurt provided in the room along with tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Perfect distance for a walk from Penzance if you are doing the South West Coast Path. Clean, comfy, friendly. We stayed here in March 2026 and would highly recommend it.
Nothing at all. It was perfect and I can’t fault it. It was so quiet the only thing we could hear was the waves on the cliffs below.

Location was amazing, lovely views, nice 10 minute coastal walk to the town! A nice touch with complimentary cereal (with a good selection) and with fresh milk, yoghurts, cheese and juice! The host Sam was very welcoming and friendly, went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home for the weekend!

Location was excellent with good views all round the coast. It’s a pleasant short walk into Porthlevern along a private footpath on to the coastal path.
We didn’t like breakfast in the room as there were two chairs and no table.
Breakfast was two boxes of multi pack cereal, overripe bananas, pre-packed processed chicken, cheese and a limited choice of yogurts, all to share with the other guests. Fresh milk was provided.
