Exceptionally characterful old building, tastefully modernised to a high standard. Full of facilities for entertainment e.g. Hot tub, pizza oven, cinema room and table football. Our party of six adults and two small children were all kept fully entertained and even our two dogs were welcome.
Parking is possible for four cars but the entrance is tight and a bit of a challenge for a large car and/or a novice driver

Fabulous house with loads of room if visiting with a large group. Very relaxing with the massage chair and hot tub. The cinema room was also great.

Beautiful luxury home - felt like a treat for all ages. Excellent additions with the hot tub, massage chair, cinema room - we had a lovely relaxing time and would have loved to stay longer. Host is also very responsive and helpful.

Highly recommend this place for families or group of friends. I stayed at The Smithy with my family members aged between 7 and 71, we all had a fantastic experience. The location is peaceful, ideal for a relaxing break away from the city. The house itself was spotless and packed with great amenities that we were all impressed by.
One of our favourite parts was the back garden. There is a hot tub that is tucked away in an area that is covered from the public eye so we felt comfortable using it.
We had an issue during the stay but the host was incredibly responsive and had it fixed as soon as we reported it. That made us feel really well looked after during our stay.
