DarMouniaFès

I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend you choose Dar Mounia Fes for accomodation in Fes. This is the best accommodation experience I have had in the world. The beautiful family (parents Khalid and Mounia and children, Mehdi, Hamza, Zineb and Hafsa treated me as their own family. I am so sad to leave as I left a piece of my heart with this gorgeous family. They went above and beyond to help me, specifically as a young solo female traveller. They gave me restaurant recommendations and organised with all my booked guides about how and where to pick me up, while also ensuring I was charged fairly. Chef Mounia makes an incredible breakfast and dinner and I highly recommend you choose to order this when there. She also makes the most delicious tea! My safety and health was their top priority at all times - on the last day, I fell ill and they were so kind at assisting me and so generous with their time and continued to check in with me my whole train ride to Casablanca. I am going to miss this absolutely amazing family! If you want an authentic experience with the nicest people in the world - this accomodation is for you. Lastly, the room was exceptionally clean and the AC worked perfectly. The wifi was fast and the views from the balcony were superb. The location was exceptional with a short walk to the Medina. Miss you all and see you next time!

You are welcomed by a very sweet and helpful family in a beautiful Riad. You feel like you have been accepted into a very warm family. Mounia is an excellent cook who prepares everything fresh herself. Highly recommended; we will definitely be back.
