The Garden Flat - Ardullie Lodge

Die Lage um die Highlands zu erkunden ist unschlagbar! Die Gastgeberin ist einfach wundervoll. Sie war uns zu jederzeit behilflich. Wir wurden mit frisch gebackenen Brot, Eiern und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Der Holzofen hat es so gemütlich gemacht.

Location was wonderful, minutes from roads N & S; very quiet area. Liz, our host, could not have been more helpful - fresh eggs, bread (on arrival), free access to a full garden of vegetables and fruit. Access to an ample supply of firewood which Liz insisted on carrying herself. Don't let first impressions ruin your stay, there is a large renovation on-going so there is the associated debris, the flat, however, is cosy (in a good way), wonderfully warm with the fire going and fully self-contained. High speed internet is available as is "cable" TV.

Right on the A9 for the NC500 or just an overnight stay if travelling up the east coast, nice secluded location. Accommodation is very good quality and dog friendly but be aware there are free range chickens, geese and cats that have the run of the front of the property so you need to have good control of your dogs, rear garden is secure for dogs to use without causing an issue. Host Liz is very welcoming and friendly and the welcome pack of fresh baked bread, free range eggs, honey and milk are a great touch

You do need to have full control of your dogs when entering and exiting the accommodation at the front with all of the animals that have free range in that area but don’t let that put you off

Great location the welcome basket was great fresh bread, milk etc from the hosts farm was great also being able to pick fruit and veggies from here allotment for our dinner was nice

Lots of goose and cat poo everywhere on drive way and garden this is due to the amount of them on the property even found cat poo in the house, if allergic to cat fur stay away as I suffered badly
