What a find! This was a delightful home-from-home stay in a lovely, fully equipped cottage in real comfort. It was c20 mins walk down the hill into Minehead, so offered a quieter stay with lovely views of the hills. A small seating area in the garden allowed us to make the most of afternoon sunshine and a wonderful log burner was a real treat for evenings in.
That we hadn’t booked it for longer! The key-safe was a little fiddly to open…but, we got there in the end.
Take your own pillow if you don’t like firm pillows.

The delightful cottage had everything we needed for our short walking holiday on Exmoor. There we also wonderful views to the south.
I would have no hesitation in booking again if I were in the area

The cottage had everything you could ask for - everything had been thought of and it was NOT one of those places you have to go and buy tea and milk. The guests comfort has been put first. The standard of decoration and interior furnishings are great. Beds very comfy. Even great quality shower gels were provided. The cottage was spotlessly clean with great quality bedding, very quiet and parking was easy. Joy, the owner, was great at communicating and it was easy to find and enter.
More for information than moaning or negative...the bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor which meant night time visits were a trek and the shower was small. This is an old cottage though and the way everything is laid out and the high quality more than offsets these.
