Carpenters Cottage Quirky home Seaside town

This property was self catering. It was very clean, and fairly well furnished, although very basic.

There was no washing machine, a slip mat in the bath is necessary, for the use of the shower. Living area very dark, the dining table and chairs a pack away set, not easy to assembly or move for a single person!!!! The mattress on the bed was very soft, not very good quality. The outdoor refuse bin has been removed, consequently only a pedal bin in the kitchen area, no where to dispose of rubbish at the end of my stay, not very satisfactory !!!!

Clean great location close to the shops and the beach.

I would probably say that I wish the window in the living room opened little bit more- we were staying in extreme heat having only one fan to share across two different rooms was tricky. Window in the roof upstairs-the bathroom made me feel a bit uncomfortable that someone could see me stepping out from the shower. It was at the head/ shoulder level slightly tilted.

We liked the location. It was within walking distance to the main part of Minehead and not far from other local shops.

I didn't like that there wasn't a single hand towel, kitchen paper towel, or dish cloth anywhere. It made things a bit difficult for me to keep things cleaned until I had a chance to buy some. This is especially frustrating when you have 2 small children, as we do.
