Really well appointed studio, nice and comfortable, clean. Host was very welcoming and available. Location was great, being close to the beach and promenade. We had a great couple of nights.

Apartment ok but for the above complaints .

Location.

Shower and hand basin drains clogged with hair and slime, stagnant smelly water. Microwave oven rusty internally , toaster full of burnt crumbs, curtains missing curtain hooks, duvet filling lumpy .

Everything went well. My wife and I enjoyed Minehead and the location of The Stables was excellent. For our hosts, nothing was too much trouble.

My vision isn't great, so a bigger TV would have been nice.

Convenient location near to the town centre. Our room was very clean and well equipped. The bed was big and comfortable and the shower fantastic. The hosts Neil and Nikki were very friendly and made us welcome.

One of the best few days we have had in a long time as the Stables was perfect for us.

The property was ideally situated just off the sea front. The room was beautiful, super comfortable bed & fab bedding. The two arm chairs were great & again comfortable. The kitchen area & dining table had everything we needed. The whole property including the outside space was spotless & very pretty. It was great value for money & our hosts were superb making sure we had every thing we wanted/needed. They were on hand to assist us when we were there. We will definitely be back & would highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay. Maggie & Pete H

Luxurious room with super beds and linens

Location was super! Very quiet area, a short walk to the centre. The room and private bathroom were exceptional. Beds very comfortable and linen super fresh. We didn’t use the kitchenette area in the room except to make a tea, but it had everything you’d need to make a meal. Would definitely stay again!

Home away from home.

Perfect location Accomodation perfect for us. Neil suggested various places we could visit,both in Minehead and surrounding area. Would thoroughly recommend,and would definately use The Old Stables again. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay.

Location of the room was along a corridor which also had the main door to the owner’s property and the stairs to the upstairs holiday let.

Fantastic, easy to use accomodation

Loved the location. Neil was fantastic and friendly, made me feel very welcome. Also loved the check-in / out system, felt secure and easy to use.

The window was hard to open and the curtains weren't very light blocking but that's a personal preference.

fantastic relaxing stay

The room was fantastic. Not only was it very spaceous, but it was extremely clean and light / bright. The bed was also very comfortable, I slept like a log. The kitchen area had everything you needed if you want to self-cater. The host Neil, who was very friendly / accommadating (nothing to him was too much trouble), who even brought me some fresh milk, so I could have a few cups of tea in the afternoon (instead of the provided long life milk). You even had access to their beautiful garden if you wished. Great location also, where the harbour is only about 100 metres away / main high street 200 metres away - which is easily accessable via the stunning Blenheim Gardens (well worth a visit). I would definetely stay again. Many thanks. Oh, and there is free car parking in the area too.

Nothing negative to add really. Maybe a clock on the wall. Though this isn't needed, due to mobile phones these days / keeping within the rooms comtempary feel.

An excellent place to stay, loved the big space and lots of amenities, Neil is an outstanding host!

Everything! Big room, great facilities, very good location, enormous comfortable bed, Neil was absolutely fabulous - he helped us with some big difficulties we were having at the start of our trip and was very friendly and supportive, giving us tips of what to see in the area - we even got up early to see the Hobby Horse go past at dawn on May 1. Very highly recommended !
