Lovely place to stay

A really lovely cottage, very clean and very comfortable, all the cottage was spotless and me and my father in law really enjoyed the stay, and he ( my father in law) can be very critical in his old age but he loved the place. the host has tried to think of everything, and we think has succeeded in this. even down to the welcome items which just added to the experience. Nice to be able to sit outside at the back under the stars with a nice drink, (or 2 or 3), One night we even had a couple of bats flitting about above the rear seating area ( We both were fascinated by them), it was a very rewarding experience.

Not much, my father in law couldn't get into the bath to use the shower (he's 83) but that's his fault, not the properties, and i did explain this to him before hand.

Very basic accommodation. Poorly maintained

Spacious, comfortable bed, good shower, near the site facilities

No gas on first night so we had no heating or hot water (in December!). The host has apologised and offered a partial refund (not yet received) Missing curtains / blinds in several rooms including the bathroom and second bedroom. The WiFi and DVD player didn’t work. Had to replace the batteries in the TV remote Minimal stock in the kitchen Damaged door handle on bathroom door meant it couldn’t be locked.

The property is closely located to the beach and train station. Many shops around and places to entertain yourself. The property is very well equipped and water, jam and cookies were extremely welcome after a long drive! This will be my next destination in Somerset!

Absolutely amazing

The cottage was amazing. Perfect location, spotlessly clean, well furnished and fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous outside patio. Beds were really comfy. We loved it and will definitely be returning.
