Situated next to the friendly village pub, Salmon Leap Cottage 2 offers outdoor seating on a shared patio, perfect for relaxing in the fresh countryside air. The cottage provides convenient parking, with both a free car park and free on-street parking available.
A couple of steps lead up to the front door, welcoming you into the cosy living area, furnished with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a TV. The modern kitchen is well-equipped, and the adjoining dining area is perfect for family meals. Upstairs, there are two inviting bedrooms, one spacious double and a triple room with three single beds, making it perfect for families. Both rooms feature wardrobes and drawers for all your belongings, and each has its own en-suite shower room for added comfort and privacy.
Sleights has a village shop, butcher, bakery, and hairdresser, providing everything you need for your stay. Less than 10 minutes by car brings you to Whitby, a town rich in history and charm. Visit Whitby Abbey, the inspiration behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula, or enjoy a scenic boat trip or a spooky ghost walk through the town’s atmospheric streets. The heritage steam train offers a scenic ride through the moors, and museums explore the town’s maritime and whaling history. For outdoor enthusiasts, the River Esk offers kayaking and rowing boat hire, allowing you to explore the serene waters and wildlife.

"Lovely new cottage right by the train station. It is close to Whitby which was perfect for us as we were there for the goth festival. The bakery up the road is well worth a visit too"
