wonderful weekend for all the family

Brilliant stay! No
Great property. Location was good for local attractions. Lovely touch providing a hamper with local produce. Information booklet very useful. Tiny train station opposite which was great for getting in to Whitby. Lovely cafe over the train track. We will definitely be returning here.
No negatives just tips- - buses full on a Saturday so can’t guarantee getting one. - train in to Whitby in the day on a Saturday great but wouldn’t recommend the last train back as apparently known as the booze train. We didn’t use our return tickets and the taxi ended up only being £10 back. - maybe some shampoo/conditioner and shower gel in the bathrooms?

Good location, Clean and spacious with great facilities
Well located for seaside resorts, Whitby around 3 miles, Robin Hoods Bay within 10 miles, Scarborough 20 miles + lots of little coastal villages to explore. Large rooms with on suite and good showers. Huge modern kitchen with all the amenities you could wish for. Large dining table in a separate room just off the kitchen. Access to Netflix on the TV in the living room if you have an account.
Only TV is in the living room, could do with at least one in the dining room for the kids while eating. Slay beds so if like me you are 6FT tall your feet hit the bottom.

Perfect family mini break.
We had a great stay at Hazeldene. Very well placed for a trip into Whitby (using the park and ride). We visited some local attractions and were able to walk to a few pubs and restaurants with our families (4 adults and 4 young children). The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable and the facilities were perfect for us.

Could do with a few more kitchen utensils as we struggled when making group meal.

Great base for Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors
Only very minor but the knives need both sharpening, and the handles glued as the blades kept coming out. Instructions for bins and departure, ie what to do with the linen, could be better
