Beautiful & Cosy Harbourside Apartment - Free Parking

Great location. Free parking was a big bonus.

Not as clean as it should be. Crumbs on the table and rug. Rug and carpets dirty.

Convenient location

The arrangements for getting the key were unexpectedly difficult, a 10 minute walk from the apartment with bags and cases. Also, as someone else commented, in a bit of a ‘run down’ area, as a lone female traveller I was glad it was daylight when I arrived. There were no instructions for locating the apartment within the building. The owner said this was Booking.com’s responsibility but in my experience these instructions normally come direct from the host. The host answered my call promptly however and helped me find the apartment. Also there was no milk provided so couldn’t even make a cup of tea on arrival without going out again, not what you want after a long journey. A small thing that would cost very little and make a big difference to the feeling of welcome.

Close to town, spacious, clean, secure, comfortable beds. Check in was well managed and we had an issue with the key (it snapped) but was resolved very quickly thank you!

It’s a bit of a faff parking down the road especially as there’s a huge empty car park at the flat! Next time I’d take my chances and just park there instead as it’s clearly not well used.

Key collection process & getting to property from car parking place was not a good experience - it took a long time to rouse the staff at the pizza place for the key, then their directions to the property were vague and unhelpful. At the property the lift didn’t work and the alternate route via stairs was in a different building - this wasn’t conveyed to me prior to arrival.
