Montmartre en rez-de-jardin

Clean, well appointed, cool in the heatwave. Charming, with quality fittings and furnishings. Lovely shower. Well organised and everything thought of. A lovely outdoor seating area. Plenty if cupboard space, slippers, robes. Washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker and more. Kind and welcoming proprietor. A book skirting the best places to frequent in the locality and how to guide for all the appliances. Amazing location, close to the buzz of Montmartre and all the attractions, yet in a quiet street. The coolest part of Paris. Close to the metro and bus 40.

The sofa bed matress was a little thin and unsupportive for a taller bigger person. Montmartre is a hilly area with quite a few sets of stairs, something to consider when it's very hot or there are mobility issues. Air-conditioned shops or eateries and pubs are more of an exception in Europe in general, so reprieve can be tricky to find. The flat stayed quite cool, a fan in a heatwave for sleeping could be helpful.

Hervorragende Wohnung, fantastische Lage. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr ruhig, absolut sauber und sehr komfortabel. Den großzügigen und ebenfalls sehr ruhigen Garten konnten wir alleine nutzen. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber.

We loved it here and would’ve have been happy to stay longer. It’s a lovely, clean, comfortable and quiet apartment in charming Montmartre across from a garden - walking to everything Monmarte and just a few minutes from the Metro. So it’s easily accessible to the all sights of Paris. There are lots of hills, stairs, and cobblestones streets, so if you love artistic charm, and walking it’s a wonderful place to stay. Internet connection was 2 bars generally. Our wonderful host Doriane was responsive and provided all we needed.

We loved everything. Internet a little slow

We really enjoyed the location, it was in the central part of Monmart and was walking distance from several places.

There were many long staircases leading up to the neighborhood but overall there isn’t much negative things to say about the property.
