Secret Garden Resort & Villas Panglao Island

I really appreciated how kind the staff was. They surprised both my partner and me with an anniversary treat and decorations to greet us when we came back to our room. The breakfast was arguably better than at some of the restaurants we went to, and the facilities were exactly what we were looking for: somewhere peaceful but still within a reasonable distance of all the major tourist spots. The driver who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport was also really kind!

There was nothing to hate or not like! The service was great, I highly recommend anyone considering this hotel to book!

Location, very far from many things. Kitchen was always out of stock of «basic» items, banana shake, mango shake or any juices were never available..

Best stay in the Phillipines Staff was attentive The room was clean and serviced everyday although I didn’t get a change of linen as stated at check in that I would after 3 days. Breakfast was delicious and the facilities were great! Loved it there

Nothing it was perfect

Secluded location which is what we were looking for. The place looks new and it is peaceful and quiet at night. Check-in was quick and staff at front desk were kind.

Breakfast was not great. We were asked about our diet preferences upon check-in, we told them we were vegetarians and they said they were going to communicate this to the kitchen. Not really many things to choose from the menu and kitchen was not very accommodating. The swimming pool was a real turn off. Weird design and very uninviting as most of the pool area was deep enough to not allow you to be comfortably standing and chill, except for some small areas where the water was at your ankle level, but surface was super slippery for kids. Also a lot of sharp edges with granite all around, and outside there was a kid of strip with rocks inside surrounding the pool, that looked more like a trap.
