brilliant location in heart of Cowes, easy walking to shops, accommodation, Estate Agent to pick up/drop off keys

Shared laneway to access property, first property on entry is very messy and rubbish everywhere (local resident)

Location, en suite per room, large TV, good washing machine that was clean inside the seals

Listing said bring linen but it had all linen. Kitchen was poorly equipped for cooking, pots, pans, plates and utensils seemed like a hodge podge of the owner's old unwanted stuff and or op shop buys, and just two tired pans to cook with, coffee machine didn't work (wouldn't puncture the capsules). Same as the towels, leftovers or op shop stock, and they had hair through them... I'm unsure if they were washed before us. Bbq was tiny and electric, not appropriate for a 6 person house, air fryer was very dirty, the lower floor smelled of damp (carpet needs reinstallation with proper water proofing, not masking it with air fresheners), no storage for bikes and beach gear, sheets weren't pure cotton and felt very hot, no wifi made tv viewing very boring, the board games were small travel versions and were messed up and torn and damaged. There were lots of DVDs but the DVD player cable had been cut in 3 places so didn't work. No bath tub for little kids. Wasn't cleaned too well, we lost something under the couch and tv unit and it was terrible under both with thick dust and dead bugs.

The house was clean and well appointed.

We were told to supply our own linen and (after packing and transporting linen to the property) upon arrival found that the property already had linen provided. The DVD player didn't appear to work. Wifi would have been really beneficial.
