Chapel Street Lighthouse

Great location close to Cowes centre and the Esplanade. Ideal for cafes and restaurants. Short stroll to supermarkets. Lots of space and a great view from the upstairs deck. All the equipment and facilities worked well.

Kitchen not as clean as we would like. Deck sails had been taken down and would have kept the upstairs cooler in the summer. Minor concerns - this was a nice home away from home.

Chapel Street Lighthouse is an underrated Philip Island gem! Russell was extremely easy to communicate with the entire stay, and made sure all if the facilities were spotless before we arrived. Great for families or small groups of friends, the lighthouse is tucked away from the street, so you get very little outside noise with all the benefits of being close to town. Three bathrooms, two showers. Which is super important for beach trips, never anyone waiting too long to rinse off all that sand. The beach was a quick walk away, and if you wanted to drive, there was always parking (and tons of parking outside the stay as well). We absolutely loved Chapel Street Lighthouse and highly reccomend it to anyone looking to stay in Philip Island.
