Yacouta Riad and Spa

Very calm and a smaller riad, in a residential area which seemed quieter and far removed from the chaos of the medina. Amazing staff and a wonderful chef, a fantastic dinner on the rooftop terrace. Lovely small rooftop plunge pool which was nice and warm as it was shallow.

Lovely property and excellent staff. The walk was about 20 mins to get to any of the main attractions so not too bad! The rooms were homey and tidy, with daily housekeeping.

There was mould on the tiles, which can be unavoidable without adequate ventilation! Also a few hairs in the bathroom on arrival.

The property is stunning. The staff are amazing and very attentive, so friendly and the location is perfect. Can’t stress enough how great ALL of the staff are. The spa is great too.

There is no alcohol license so you can’t consume any alcohol. The bed was well used and hard, the shower could have been better. It’s very noisy and the cleaner makes ALOT of noise when cleaning which makes it hard to relax at all. A small few tweeks could really take this property to the next level.

Had sun-loungers, a dip pool on the terrace and an onsite restaurant. Comfortable bed and quality sheets. Powerful shower and v friendly staff.

The room was tiny and over crowded, noisy, and dark. It felt too close to the reception with everyone walking around and chatting. The bathroom was a squeeze. I’d say maximum 25cm to get past the sink and door to the toilet or shower! The shower was powerful but projected outwards resulting in a flooded room. I booked the Riad as I thought it had a clean boutique vibe but it wasn’t clean enough and the decorating wasn’t finished to any kind of standard acceptable. The rose petals on the bed were odd and the spa overpriced so we didn’t use it.
