The apartment is very comfortable and cozy, very close to the city center. We saw incredible northern lights from the apartment! And the owner was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

The apartment is bottom floor and had an entry area which was great for taking off and storing wet gear before entering lounge area.
Cooking facilities. There were some staples such as oil, salt pepper sugar cacao. And other food items in a cupboard that appeared quite old e.g crackers. Host left us 2 tins of diet coke and a packet of chips.

Supplied enough washing liquid for 1 load of whites, 1 load of woollens and 1 load of coloured items in machine.
Check in was late, 5pm.
The bedroom was tiny with twin beds. So had to shuffle past hugging the wall to get to other bed. I found the bed lacked support but other adult felt it was fine.
We were supplied with incorrect WiFi code. Queried lack of connection and received correct code. I know we are in Norway, but this was the only accommodation where communication, long messages such as rubbish sorting for recycling, was in Norwegian. We had a reply about wrong WiFi code in English, so I know the host can use English. I made the property aware that we were English speaking but in the end it is their prerogative to use Norwegian, so no problem.
I don't know why but the information re check-in code ect was received as we were walking down their road looking for the property. I have noticed that messages and emails do not necessarily arrive promptly while we have been in Norway, so maybe it would be a good idea to send info earlier.
No face to face communication with host, who lives upstairs. Which is fine.. I expected a different experience from the reviews I read.
Appartment was cold when we arrived despite heaters being on. They were set on 17 and 20 degrees Celsius. We have just been used to accommodation being warm upon arrival, which is nice, as we have basically spent the whole day outdoors in the cold
Couldn't get tv to work. 2 remotes. No instructions. Could ask host I suppose.
