Disappointing, Standards are dropping

Location is great with lots of amenities around, easy to access on foot, Mojo Market is a block from this building. You have a n Ocean View from the passage. Pick n Pay across the street. Seattle Coffee shop downstairs. Woolies/checkers within walking distance. easy access to almost all basics.

I have stayed at Flamingo about 5 times, facility is good however I didnt like this particular room, it was now well cleaned as there was a weird smell which was very strong (Cannabis). I had to keep the sliding door open until night. Please fix this Door...it gets stuck when closing. Also it has no QR Code, had to share key with partner. we stayed 5 nights and our room wasnt cleaned/nor had towels refreshed. No mop/broom in the room... The Wifi connection wasnt very strong either. That Toilet brush is old& filthy and needs to be replaced Please!! Staff should atleast provide fresh towels daily or every two days. Room had no enough utensils for bathroom door lock was broken and reported however no one showed up to repair it. Blanket was dirty, had to go and ask for a clean one from reception. The one side of the Bed is slanted making it uncomfortable to sleep. Facility needs to invest in new beds

Very disappointing!!!

I left 2 jackets in the closet when I checked out. My jackets were placed in the garbage bin underneath wet towels and empty bottles. In the 5 hours that it took me to get back to the accommodation to retrieve my belongings, I was never notified by reception that I'd left belongings in the room....the way that my valuable belongings, including a leather jacket and a Columbia brand winter coat, were concealed in the trash was very disturbing!!! I'm waiting for a suitable resolution to this mistreatment of my belongings in an apparent attempt to steal my things!!! Please see the attached photos where my jackets were hidden!!!
