Exactly as advertised. Nice size room, clean and warm. Host was lovely. Had some nice chats with her before leaving each day and on leaving. Location is good for Dublin, Slane Castle, Newgrange and Battle of the Boyne exhibition plus others. Recommend. 👍

•Clean room with that unmistakable ‘budget B&B from a simpler time’ vibe
• Marie the host communicated well but clearly believes in an early to bed routine (lights out at 10pm even on a Saturday night!)
• Earplugs thoughtfully provided to drown out the nearby traffic concert.
• Great for one night stays if you are not too fussy and just need a place to sleep (or try to).
• One toilet and shower shared between 7 guests - feels like a school trip flashback.
• No mirror in the room - personal grooming becomes a bit of a guessing game.
• Wardrobe was already occupied… by the owners clothes - very authentic ‘spare room at grandma’s’ feel
• No sign outside to indicate that this is a guesthouse so you may feel like you are knocking on a strangers door asking if you may stay the night
. Definitely not for night owls - arrive late and you’ll feel like you have missed curfew at boarding school
